Deux pièces d’or pour ce minerai ? Oui, ils essayaient clairement de la sous-estimer. Romelia connaît assez bien le sujet pour comprendre immédiatement leur manœuvre. Voir le marchand se faire tester à son tour par la jeune noble, c’était excellent.

J’aime bien quand le père du marchand arrive pour réparer les dégâts causés par son fils. Et Romelia fait intervenir son propre père dans la négociation, ce qui permet aux deux pères de conclure une transaction légitime. C’était élégant.

La rupture des fiançailles paraît assez classique, mais j’aime le calme avec lequel tout s’enchaîne ensuite. Elle retourne la situation face au marchand, laisse sa mère derrière elle et part aussitôt. Ce qui m’intrigue le plus, c’est qu’on ne comprend toujours pas ce que Romelia a vraiment en tête.
